How Nureva Can Transform Your Planning Rooms
We have been a partner of Nureva since earlier this year, which has given us the opportunity to get our hands on some of their technology for ourselves. We have dual Wall WM408i interactive displays with Span Workspace in our boardroom, along with a HDL300 microphone for video calls.
These products can transform meeting and planning rooms into collaboration powerhouses:
Span Workspace
Span Workspace is a collaboration tool that encourages people to create ideas, workflows and projects together, whether they’re in the same room or around the world. As shown in the image at the top of this post, it allows users to work together to add notes, annotations, checklists, images and just about anything else you’d otherwise be trying to Blu Tack onto the wall of your planning rooms.
Working with the multi-touch functionality of the Nureva Wall WM408i, a number of users can work on the same canvas at the same time in person, while remote workers can log into the canvas andcontribute simultaneously with the office staff, in real-time. A Nureva Span canvas can be scrolled through, reaching a total length of just under 61 metres of digital space, and with a Span Workspace subscription, you can create an unlimited number of canvases.
Wall WM408i
The Nureva Wall WM408i is a system combining multi-touch interactive digital boards and ultra-short throw projectors that are powered by Span Workspace. The Wall has extremely small bezels and they have an interlocking feature which makes combining multiple displays simple.
The configurations can range from a small 2.3 metres wide, to a whopping 18.29 metres wide by combining multiple Walls together in a line, or even around corners to create a fully immersive experience. They also have some amazing smart-features including the automatic start-up, which is a configurable presence-detection sensor that turns on the system.
HDL300
When it comes to audio and video conferencing, sound clarity is arguably the single, most important factor. That’s where the HDL300 comes in, with it’s patented Microphone Mist technology. The technology fills a room with 8,192 virtual microphones to provide true, full-room pickup for any room configuration. The Microphone Mist technology’s array of thousands of virtual of microphones means that all meeting participants can be heard the same, no matter where they move in the room or what direction they face – we have tested this and it’s truly amazing!
