Lifesize and Serenova Merge to Create Contact Center Communications and Workplace Collaboration Company

Earlier today, our videoconferencing partner, Lifesize, announced their merger with Serenova, a leading contact centre-as-a-service (CCaaS) provider. Together, the merger will create a contact centre communications and workplace collaboration company serving more than 10,000 customers worldwide. Marlin Equity Partners, a global investment firm with over $6.7bn of capital under management, is the financial sponsor of this merger, and they will continue investing and supporting the growth of the combined business to target the $60bn unified communications-as-a-service market. The new company will enable customers to consolidate communications, contact centre and video collaboration solutions, creating unified, omnichannel experiences for collaboration and customer engagement.

Lifesize’s founder and CEO, Craig Malloy, will serve as the CEO of the new entity. Serenova’s CEO, John Lynch, will be taking on the role of Senior Vice President of Sales, including strategic oversight of major global accounts.
