UK AV and unified communications specialist ClearVC has announced the full acquisition of Videoconferencing integrator VideoCentric Ltd, in a strategic move that accelerates ClearVC’s national growth and deepens its ability to deliver high-quality, end-to-end collaboration solutions across the UK.

ClearVC has long been recognised for its delivery of enterprise-grade AV, cloud collaboration and videoconferencing solutions. The acquisition of VideoCentric marks a major step forward in ClearVC’s strategic expansion, bringing nearly 40 years of combined industry experience and significantly increasing the company’s presence in the South of England.

The deal also includes VideoCentric’s newly opened showroom in Edinburgh, which will act as a Scottish hub for demonstrations, innovation and training, supporting ClearVC’s long-term strategy to offer true end-to-end UK coverage.

The acquisition brings VideoCentric’s directly employed engineers into the ClearVC fold, ensuring all service delivery remains in-house. This approach reinforces ClearVC’s core values of quality, consistency, and responsiveness, which are critical as demand for reliable AV solutions continues to grow. With a reduced need for long-distance deployments, the group is positioned to respond faster and more efficiently across all regions.

Founded in 2001, VideoCentric has built a strong reputation in the Thames Valley and across the South of England. Its specialities span AV integration, equipment hire, installation, analytics, and long-term support. Its client base includes businesses, education providers, healthcare institutions, and public sector bodies.

The two businesses will continue operating under their respective brands in the near term, with a phased integration strategy focused on preserving service continuity for customers. No job losses are expected. New roles have already been created across sales, finance, HR, and compliance at ClearVC’s Manchester HQ and beyond to support group-wide growth.

Looking ahead, the group plans continued investment in both its north and south operations and the new Edinburgh showroom, further strengthening its ability to deliver cutting-edge solutions across the UK. The acquisition forms part of ClearVC’s wider growth strategy, combining organic development with targeted acquisitions to expand technical capability and national coverage.As the AV and collaboration market continues to evolve, the combined business is well-positioned to deliver agile, in-house, future-ready solutions for organisations navigating hybrid work, digital transformation and modern communication challenges.
